Losing weight can be tricky for most people, but often times just requires HARD EFFORT and CONSISTENCY in one's actions.
People have been having trouble losing weight since the days we started putting food in our mouths. The weight problem usually stems from a personal problem, such as not the most ideal hereditary genes, a job that requires long hours of sitting behind a desk or perhaps just laziness (though I’m sure that isn’t your issue ;))
However, weight problems and heart related issues that a derivative of it, are becoming a major issue in many developed countries. So big of an issue obesity and unhealthy eating habits have become that the governments have enacted legislation (or are planning to) that would restrict the diet of its citizens.
So what is the first step to getting thinner?
Not a lot of people want to accept this fact, but in order to lose weight you will have to change up your eating and exercising habits.
That is never what anybody wants to hear, but it is the truth.
A lot of fad diets out there these day try to sell you on the idea that you can eat more to become healthier (seen these commercials?). As long as it is from their diet-weight-loss company that you buy the food from, you might lose some weight.
They sell food to you to help you lose weight, because apparently no other healthy foods exist at your local market and you are incapable of deciphering junk food for good food.
Not all diet plans are bad though, you just have to find the ones that focus on breaking bad eating habits and restoring it with one that works for you, but more importantly works for your body.
There is an old saying though, that it is better to eat unhealthy and exercise, than it is to eat healthy and not exercise.
It is what it is; exercise is simply good for our bodies. It keeps things fit and ready for action, and the fluids flowing like a clean stream river (opposed to a stagnant body of water that has let pollutants build up)
Exercise also feels a bit like a contradiction – you’d think wearing yourself out for 2 hours a day would decrease your energy. However, the proof lay with the pudding, and the proof is that exercising more will actually increase your energy.
More importantly however, exercise (even more so than a good diet) is critical at weight regulation, and something you will have to do if you plan on losing any weight.
